Amber Phosphor Display
Warm amber-on-black color scheme modeled after classic CRT terminals. Easy on the eyes during long sessions.

Multi-Monitor Blackout
Secondary monitors go dark automatically. One screen shows a large ambient clock. Press F11 to rotate which screen is your canvas.

Two Distinct Modes
Writer Mode for drafting (amber). Editor Mode for revising (green phosphor). New text turns red so every change is visible at a glance.

Spell Check
Built-in Windows spell checker runs as you type in Editor Mode. Suggestions appear inline. Misspelled words get a subtle dark red highlight.

Find & Replace
Full find and replace bar in Editor Mode. Replace one match or all at once. Wraps around the document automatically.

Auto-Save
Saves your work silently in the background. Configurable interval from 1 to 30 minutes, or off entirely. Never interrupts your flow.

Session Timer
A live session clock counts up from the moment you launch. See exactly how long you've been writing today.

File Format Support
Opens and saves .txt, .rtf, and .docx. Save as .rtf to preserve Editor Mode revision marks across sessions.

Print
Send your document to any printer with Ctrl+P or F9. Clean paginated output in Courier New.

WRITER MODE — DEFAULT
Amber Screen
The default state. Warm amber phosphor on near-black. No toolbars, no chrome. Just your text, a ruler, and a live word count. This is where you write.
EDITOR MODE — PRESS F12
Green Screen
Switch to green phosphor for revisions. New and changed text turns red so you see every edit. Spell check and Find & Replace become available. Red marks are visual only — your saved file is clean.
